• Contains special production elements such as a dedicated horn mic spill channel to evoke classic breakbeat vibes.
• Comes with MIDI grooves curated by Gangadeen and Chapman to match the kits’ vibe and make use of extras like side snares and electronic percussion.
• Includes a wide array of mix-ready presets by Peter Chapman for versatility in production.

About the Creators

Andy Gangadeen is a highly regarded drummer known for blending live acoustic energy with electronic precision. His work spans collaborations with artists like Massive Attack, Chase & Status, and Rudimental.

Peter Chapman (aka Erb N Dub) is an experienced engineer, producer, mixer, DJ, and drummer, known for fusing live and electronic elements with vintage character and modern production approaches.

Production Environment

The recording took place in the bespoke Rimshot Studio, featuring a large live room with high ceilings and a rare 1960s Decca GENDEC valve console paired with a modern SSL AWS900+ desk. The studio’s microphone collection includes classics like Telefunken U47 and AKG C12.
