Spitfire Swarms is a virtual instrument library offering unique orchestral textures by combining rarely grouped instruments into choirs. It features ensembles such as nine harps, a marimba orchestra, and 18 mandolins, charangos, and ukuleles, recorded in the AIR Studios Lyndhurst Hall. The library focuses on creating evolving textures through articulations like tremolos, rolls, glissandi, and plucks, inspired by the artistic concept of pointillism where short, discrete notes merge to form longer continuous tones.
