Spatial Movement and Mixing

The library focuses on playable spatial movement of sound, allowing direction control for many articulations. Movement on the X axis (left to right) and Y axis (front to back) can be used effectively in stereo and surround sound setups. The 21 microphone positions capture these movements with a variety of placements including a traditional OT tree, ambisonic mics, and re-purposed speaker mics for sub bass.

Recording and Production Details

The samples were recorded at AIR Studios Lyndhurst Hall in London, known for cinematic recordings, with a unique orchestra layout facing the organ for enhanced low-end sound. The library includes recordings of re-amped analog synthesizer bass patches complementary to the orchestral sounds.
