Background and Inspiration

Created in collaboration with Berlin-based composer and sound designer Max Knoth, Achrome revisits concepts from pioneering avant-garde electronic composers such as Karlheinz Stockhausen, Klaus Schulze, and Györgi Ligeti. It integrates modular sound design with intentional randomness and technical mastery to produce unique playable synthesized soundscapes.

Intended Use and Audience

Achrome is aimed at composers, producers, and sound designers interested in experimental electronic music and avant-garde tonalities. It facilitates exploration of evolving percussive textures and aleatoric patterns, suitable for soundtracks, experimental projects, and electronic music creation.
