Background and Design

The original Polivoks synthesizer was produced between 1982 and 1990 by the Formanta Radio Factory in the USSR, designed by Vladimir Kuzmin and Olympiada Kuzmina. Its unique gritty filter sound derives from the use of programmable op-amps instead of typical analog filter circuits. Atomika faithfully emulates and expands upon these characteristics, integrating modern synthesis enhancements.
